Well, I did it! (Even though I never took my eyes off them :) I bought peanuts! I felt like they were watching me as I picked them up, put them in my cart, walked around the store with them, put them in my grocery bag, then into my car, then IN MY HOUSE! For 7 years I have not let anything come into my house that has even been processed with peanuts, and now they are in my kitchen! This is a good thing! But I still double bagged them and put them up high in the highest cupboard I could find! (Baby steps :) They sat there for 4 days until it was time to take them out to shell them for her appointment the next morning. Shelling them in my kitchen was actually easier than I thought. I was excited to be at this milestone of the process!
